Hong Kong Returns to Regular Operations After Tropical Storm Tapah

Severe Tropical Storm Tapah, currently moving away from Hong Kong, resulted in significant disruptions to daily life. The storm’s effects, including a No 8 typhoon signal, prolonged disruptions to classes and work schedules across the city. A flight, HK Express UO235, experienced an incident with signage boards at Hong Kong International Airport, causing a temporary halt in flight operations. Despite the storm’s conclusion, approximately 140 flights were cancelled, and schools were temporarily closed. Many individuals utilized flexible work arrangements to accommodate the situation.
