Delhi: Independent Sugar Corporation Limited (INSCO), backed by industrialists Kamlesh Madhvani and Shrai Madhvani of the Madhvani Group, has announced the appointment of a new board of directors at Hindustan National Glass & Industries Ltd. (HNGIL). The move follows the company’s acquisition through the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process.
The board will be chaired by Shrai M. Madhvani, who has more than two decades of experience in global container glass manufacturing. Kamlesh M. Madhvani, joint managing director of the Madhvani Group, joins as a board member.
Other appointments include:
- Nitin Kishore Gadhia as director, bringing more than 45 years of experience in container glass operations and finance.
- Kumar Krishnan as managing director, with over three decades of experience in managing and setting up glass plants.
- Justice (Retd.) Mukesh R. Shah, former Supreme Court judge, as independent director.
- Geetha Gangadharan, former senior official at SEBI and RBI, as independent director with expertise in governance and financial regulation.
INSCO said the new board combines industrial leadership, operational expertise, and governance capabilities to guide HNGIL toward sustainable growth and operational excellence.
