Police have confirmed the death of a newborn infant in Idukki district following a home delivery service. The parents, a couple, declined medical assistance and the father provided assistance during the delivery. The mother experienced significant bleeding, requiring hospitalization. The infant ultimately passed away at the hospital. Investigation is underway to determine the cause of the complications.
