Iran and UN Nuclear Agency Re-establish Dialogue

On Tuesday, Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) signed an agreement in Cairo to facilitate renewed cooperation. The meeting, involving Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, and IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, focused on restarting inspections of Iran’s nuclear facilities. This step follows previous discussions regarding the possibility of resuming verification activities. The agreement aims to bolster transparency and address concerns related to past inspections.
