Brio Hydroponics Launches 100-Acre Hydroponics Park in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Brio Hydroponics announced the launch of “Unnati,” a 100-acre hydroponics park in Talod, Sabarkantha district, which the company says will be Gujarat’s largest facility of its kind.

The project will be developed and operated by Brio Hydroponics’ team of specialists, using soil-less farming techniques where plants are grown with water enriched with nutrient solutions. The company stated that this method allows for faster harvest cycles and increased crop yields.

According to Brio Hydroponics, the park will employ Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) systems, a model it says it pioneered, alongside technologies sourced from France, Israel and New Zealand. Thirty acres of the park are already under development.

“Our commitment is to liberate farmers from uncertainties in weather and climate change while enabling sustainable and profitable agriculture,” said Pravin Patel, founder of Brio Hydroponics. He added that the company has previously developed hydroponics projects for groups such as Welspun and Adani.

Investors expressed support for the initiative. Rajesh Mehta described Brio Hydroponics as a “professional and transparent partner” that provided confidence in investment. Amit Bansal said the company had delivered strong returns and reliable execution.

Brio Hydroponics stated that it aims to support farmers and agri-preneurs with high-yield techniques and food security initiatives. The company has partnered with Anand Agricultural University, IFFCO and other organizations for future expansions.
