Belagavi district in Karnataka has received 25% surplus rainfall, above the aggregated annual average for the monsoon season . Khanapur taluk received the highest rainfall of 1,915 mm against 1,525 mm, a 16% deficit . The district received 217 mm rainfall against a normal of 146 mm in June .
