US Men Deported to Eswatini: Legal Concerns Raised

Lawyers representing five men deported to Eswatini, formerly Swaziland, have raised concerns about their legal status. These men, originating from Laos, Vietnam, Cuba, Jamaica, and Yemen, were released after serving criminal sentences. The US government deported them in July without prior notice, citing alleged “depraved monsters” behavior. The lawyers assert that the men are being denied necessary access to their clients, who are currently imprisoned. They allege that the deportation process violates established legal protocols and the men’s rights. The situation is currently under investigation.
